Social isolation and loneliness have emerged as a public health crisis, with links to elevated risks of cardiovascular disease, dementia, stroke, depression, and anxiety. U.S. Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) is calling for a public policy response — including proposing an Office of Social Connection Policy in the White House. During this event, Sen.
