Location and Facilities
Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health is located in Boston, Massachusetts, on Harvard University’s Longwood Campus.
Harvard Chan School is a global hub of innovation, home to many of the world’s leading research hospitals and research institutions as well as pioneering biotech and pharma companies. And it’s just across the quad from Harvard Medical School and Harvard School of Dental Medicine.
Our main buildings are located at 651 and 677 Huntington Avenue in the Mission Hill neighborhood. Inside, you’ll find much of our lab, classroom, and administrative space, along with Sebastian’s Cafe, a focal point for student life.
Next door, Harvard’s Countway Library has an extensive collection of reference material, as well as study space and conference rooms. Countway also hosts regular career development workshops and other events — including cuddle time with a therapy dog.
The School also maintains offices in the historic Landmark Center, about a mile away from the main campus at 401 Park Drive, and in a few other area buildings.
Our residential building for students, Shattuck International House, is at 203 Park Drive.

Our state-of-the-art lab space includes several specialized research facilities — among them, a mass spectrometry platform for advanced multi-omics; automated Quiagen equipment for genotyping and genetic sequencing; a nutritional biomarker lab; and alarge-capacity, automated –80 degree freezer.
