SPECIAL MAINTENANCE: Fri. 11/29 – Sat. 11/30
IT and Operations will shut down servers and network equipment for a special maintenance beginning 5:00pm Friday, November 29th, and ending 10:00pm Saturday, November 30th, Eastern Standard Time.
This special maintenance is being conducted to replace the uninterruptible power supply (UPS) that powers the School’s data center. This equipment needs to be replaced every 20 years.
The following services will be unavailable during the dates and times above:
- All Virtual Desktop Systems
- File and Print services
- Wasabi
All other services will be unaffected during the maintenance window, including the following:
- Zoom
- Canvas
- Microsoft 365 (email, calendar, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Administrative forms (account requests, visitor pass requests, computer setup, etc.)
- Kiteworks by Accellion File Transfer service
- my.harvard
- Web Server (main www.hsph.harvard.edu site)
- Emma
- Mailman listservs
- Local SMTP email services
- Powerfaids and NetPartner
- Passage Point
