Discover your Ikigai with Altruism
On Friday April 5th, from 1-1:50 PM in Kresge 202A, we invite all Harvard ID-holders to join the Lee Kum Sheung Center for Health and Happiness Student Interest Group for “Discover your Ikigai with Altruism: A Workshop for Finding Personal Fulfillment and Contributing to a Better World.” This workshop will be led by Center Student Steering Committee member Sarah Wang, MPH ’25.
In a modern world filled with high-stress environments and daily challenges, discovering your Ikigai, or “purpose in life”, is more vital than ever. It’s a path to better navigate life, enhance physical and mental well-being, increase happiness, and even extend your lifespan. Ikigai allows you to embrace life’s joys with gratitude, and navigate hardships with a sense of deeper meaning and intrinsic motivation. It equips you with self-understanding, problem-solving skills, and resilience, which are crucial in high-pressure situations. Discover your Altruistic Ikigai with us and unlock a brighter, more purposeful future that benefits both you and the world around you.
Speakers’ remarks are based on their own scholarship and experience. As such, they speak for themselves, not for Harvard.
