Leaders require innovative training to analyze emerging threats, comply with regulations, and engage diverse audiences around public health issues.  

The Risk Communication and Analysis programs at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health Executive and Continuing Education equip professionals with the skills needed to tackle these challenges. In Benefit-Cost Analysis: Valuing Life and Health, participants learn methods for valuing changes in health and longevity and the estimates recommended for use in a variety of settings. In Applied Risk Communication for the 21st Century, participants learn pragmatic strategies for engaging the public on complex risks.  

The articles and programs on this page explore timely topics such as combatting misinformation, valuing mortality risk reductions, and using a risk analysis framework to guide public health decisions. One of our goals at Harvard Chan School is to provide interdisciplinary training and build risk analysis and communication capabilities within public, private, and government organizations worldwide.
