Biography
Dr. Rose H. Goldman is currently Director of Faculty Affairs for the Department of Medicine at the Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA), Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and Associate Professor in the Department of Environmental Health of Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She previously served as Chief of the Division of Occupational and Environmental Medicine at CHA. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Preventive Medicine (Occupational Medicine). She is Co-Director of the New England Pediatric Environmental Health Specialty Unit, which is a collaboration between Children's Hospital Boston and the Occupational & Environmental Health Center at CHA. She has had a long standing clinical and research interest in neurotoxicity and metal toxicity, and has published concerning small studies and case reports. She also previously did a randomized control study of treatment of Repetitive Strain Injuries using low-dose amitriptyline or acupuncture. She has also been dedicated to medical education in Environmental and Occupational Medicine (past NIEHS EOM Academic Awardee) as is currently the course director for the Harvard Chan School's Introduction to Environmental Health. In the past she worked as the occupational health physician for the Massachusetts Division of Occupational Hygiene in the Department of Labor.
