Biography
Louise Keogh Weed is an Instructor at the Harvard T.H Chan School of Public Health and at Harvard Division of Continuing Education, Affiliate Faculty at the Harvard Medical School Center for Primary Care, and the Founder/ CEO of KW Facilitation. Louise teaches, coaches, and facilitates groups on topics such as leadership development, change management, team building, and strategic planning. She has worked with a wide range of organizations, including major hospital systems, international public health organizations, safety net institutions, and community-based organizations.
She has designed at taught several masters-level courses including “Strategic Management in a Global Setting”, “Data Management for Healthcare Managers”, and the “Practicum and Culminating Experience for Health Management.” Louise is the Faculty Director of the “Advancing Leadership Strategies for Evolving Healthcare Executives” in the Harvard T.H Chan School of Public health Executive and Continuing Education Department. Louise is the Faculty Co-Director of “Managing Yourself and Leading Others in Healthcare” Course at the Harvard Extension School Center for Professional Development.
Louise has worked on the front lines of healthcare and thus designs all her work to be pragmatic and immediately applicable. Her work lives in the space where theory and frameworks can be applied to the reality of fast-paced, complicated work situations.
Louise holds a bachelor’s degree from Tufts University and a master’s degree from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Louise serves as Board Chair for the Massachusetts Service Alliance, a Board Member for The Farm School Foundation, and as a Committee Member for the MGH Community Impact Funds Economic Stability and Mobility (ES&M) Allocation Committee. She lives in the Boston area with her husband, daughter, and dog.
