Biography
Gianluca Mauro is an AI entrepreneur, speaker and executive advisor. He is the founder of two companies: AI Academy, specialized in helping people and organizations understand and use AI, and Epiphany, a startup that uses generative AI and learning science to change the way corporate learning and development designs and delivers education.
Outside of his work in teaching, Gianluca writes in his newsletter “What Matters – I build AI companies, you get the lessons” where he focuses on the human and strategic side of AI. Gianluca has also led an investigation for the Guardian and the Pulitzer Center called, "‘There is no standard’: investigation finds AI algorithms objectify women’s bodies”. This work was also covered in other publications like Cosmopolitan and Politico, and national TV channels in Germany, France and Italy.
