Biography
Dr. Al Rielly completed his undergraduate education at Dartmouth College and received his MD degree from the University of Massachusetts. He completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Boston Medical Center and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Vermont. He then completed a residency in General Preventive Medicine and Public Health at Stony Brook University and received his MPH degree at Columbia University. Dr. Rielly worked as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Preventive Medicine at Stony Brook University and finished his postgraduate training with a residency in Occupational Medicine at the Harvard T.H. Chan of Public Health.
Following graduation, Dr. Rielly worked for the Cambridge Health Alliance as an Occupational Medicine physician and was an Instructor In Medicine, Harvard Medical School. Dr. Rielly has extensive experience with pre-employment screenings, OSHA, Department of Energy, World Trade Center, and FEMA medical surveillance exams. He has performed multiple Independent Medical Exams, Fitness for duty exams, impairment ratings, and disability file reviews. He is a certified Medical Review Officer, Certified Independent Medical Examiner, and DOT medical examiner. Dr. Rielly is board certified in Internal Medicine, General Preventive Medicine and Public Health, and Occupational Medicine. He is licensed in California, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and New York. Dr. Rielly serves as Medical Director, Occupational Health Service, Massachusetts General Hospital.
