Dr. Cohen is a Research Associate Professor of Medicine at the Tufts Medical Center Institute for Clinical Research and Health Policy Studies, and Deputy Director of the Center for the Evaluation of Value and Risk in Health. His research has focused on the application of simulation to assess the risks, benefits, and costs of health interventions. His work has evaluated a range of medical and public health interventions. Jim Conway is an Adjunct Lecturer at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. From 2006-2009 he was Senior Vice President of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) and from 2005-2011, Senior Fellow. During 1995-2005, Jim served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI), Boston. Prior to joining DFCI, Mr. Conway had a 27-year career at Children’s Hospital, Boston in Radiology Administration, Finance, and as Assistant Hospital Director. His areas of expertise and interest include governance and executive leadership, patient safety, change management, and patient- and family-centered care.
Renee Crichlow, MD, FAAFP, practiced full-spectrum Family Medicine with Obstetrics for more than 20 years and is now the chief medical officer of Codman Square Health Center in Boston, a Vice-chair at the Boston University Medical School Department of Family Medicine, and is she is also a Lecturer at the Harvard University Chan School of Public Health.
