Dr. Pandya loves teaching introductory health decision science and conducting research built on these methods. His areas of interest are: 1) applied decision science studies evaluating cardiovascular disease policies; 2) connecting cost-effectiveness analysis with broader value-based health policies being implemented or piloted in U.S. health reform; and 3) methodological topics within cost-effectiveness modeling (calibration, validation, distributional cost-effectiveness analysis). Stefania Papatheodorou is an Associate Professor in Epidemiology at the Rutgers School of Public Health, an Adjunct Associate Professor in Epidemiology at the Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health, and a trained obstetrician and gynecologist. She has been working on evidence synthesis for the last fifteen years on a variety of clinical topics with a primary focus on risk factors for pregnancy-related diseases such as gestational diabetes, pre-eclampsia, prenatal diagnosis of fetal defects, and preterm delivery as well as longer-term outcomes such as children’s neurodevelopment due to environmental exposures during pregnancy. Vikram Patel is The Pershing Square Professor of Global Health and Welcome Trust Principal Research Fellow at the Harvard Medical School. He co-leads the GlobalMentalHealth@Harvard initiative. His work has focused on the burden of mental health problems, their association with social disadvantage, and the use of community resources for their prevention and treatment. Jordan serves as a Principal Health Practice & Systems Advisor at MITRE Corporation, a non-profit organization dedicated to “Solving Problems for a Safer World.” MITRE operates 6 Federally Funded Research and Development Centers (FFRDC) including the Center for Government Effectiveness and Modernization where Jordan sits. Dr. Pham, PhD is a Research Scientist at the Harvard School of Public Health and Associate Faculty with the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative (HHI). She recently joined HHI after holding the positions of Director of Research at UC Berkeley’s Human Rights Center and Adjunct Associate Professor at Tulane University's Payson Center for International Development. Fawn Phelps is in her 14th year as an Instructor and the Director of Leadership Development at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She oversees the leadership development programing for the Harvard Chan mid-career DrPH program. Phelps also directs a year-long, co-curricular leadership development training program open to any Harvard Chan student.
