Program Overview
Participants will leave this program better prepared to leverage the critical business knowledge gained to lead strategically and manage complex health care challenges. With a focus on building effective cross-functional relationships, this program provides the mindset, tools, and skills to navigate change with agility. Through group discussions and hands-on exercises, you will learn from your fellow participants’ experiences, as well as from leading Harvard faculty, as you exchange valuable insights and best practices.

This program is designed for any level of emerging executive who has been recently promoted, has significantly increased scope, or who never received the onboarding necessary to take on a next level role within hospitals, health systems, physician practices, insurance companies, pharmaceutical companies, medical device companies, ministries of health, health care foundations, and other health care-related organizations around the world. It has also been designed to elevate those who are committed to investing in their own leadership development, and to promoting the advancement of women into senior and executive roles including:
- Vice Presidents, Assistant Vice Presidents, department directors, and other executives reporting to the C-suite or Senior Vice President level
- Medical Directors, Clinical Chiefs of Service, Pharmacy or Lab Managers, and other senior managers who have decisionmaking responsibility for planning, allocating resources, managing staff, and developing policy
- Leaders in compliance, quality, employee and patient experience, human resources, communications, marketing, operations, or other administrative functions
