Harvard Chan School Convocation 2026

Convocation is the formal ceremony for the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, held at Agganis Arena. Dean Baccarelli will deliver remarks, along with a student speaker, a convocation speaker, and an alumni speaker. Graduates are individually presented with a scroll of the UN Declaration of Human Rights and will walk across the stage as their names are announced.
Dr. Rochelle Walensky, MPH ’01, former director of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, will deliver the Convocation speech for the Class of 2026.
9:00 am: Graduate arrival
10:00 am: General admission guest seating opens
10:15 am: Live stream begins
10:30 am: Procession begins
11:00 am: Ceremony begins
1:30 pm (approximately): Ceremony ends and reception begins
