Work and Suicide: Evolving Understandings of Etiology and Intervention

Learning Objectives: Participants will be able to 1) define work-related suicide from an occupational health and safety perspective; 2) discuss the case investigation-based evidence for potential work-related causes of suicide; 3) discuss the epidemiologic evidence for potential work-related causes of suicide; 4) list six categories of potential work-related causes of suicide; and to 5) describe the strengths and limitations of current workplace suicide prevention policy and practice.
