The Transparent Reporting of Observational Studies Emulating a Target Trial (TARGET) Statement was published by JAMA on September 3, 2025.
TARGET is a consensus-based guidance that aims to “develop consensus-based guidance for reporting observational studies performed to estimate causal effects by explicitly emulating a target trial.” (JAMA)
