Yancy “Attaining Health Equity- Our Generational Responsibility in Medicine”Register here In our 2023 Donald Hopkins Lecture, Dr. Yancy will share his insights on establishing an operational definition of health equity; scoping the human cost of health inequities and scaling the expense; charting a path forward; accomplishing change after the SCOTUS decision; and transitioning from Equity to Ethics.Dr. Clyde W. Yancy is Vice Dean of Diversity and Inclusion, Professor of Medicine and Chief of Cardiology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago. He concomitantly serves as associate director of the Bluhm Cardiovascular Institute at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. He holds the Magerstadt Endowed Professor Chair and holds a concomitant appointment as professor in the Department of Medical Social Sciences.
