Biography
William Hanson is Managing Director of Liberty Technology, part of the Liberty Mutual Group. Liberty Technology designs, manufactures and distributes rehabilitation equipment such as prosthetic and orthotic devices. Mr. Hanson has been at the liberty Mutual research Center for Safety and health for more than 25 years. Over that period of time, he served as Director of Acoustics Research and provided industrial noise consulting services to Liberty’s Loss Prevention Representatives and Industrial Hygiene staff. He has been active in various acoustics and noise control organizations such as; the Acoustical Society of America, the Institute of noise control Engineers, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers – Noise control and Acoustics Division.
