Paul S. Valentine

Biography

Mr. Valentine is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Sleep HealthCenters LLC of Boston, MA. He is a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and chair of the AASM Practice Development Advisory Council. Paul specializes in the management and development of high-quality, fast-growth organizations. Prior to joining Sleep HealthCenters in late 2002, Paul was president of Children’s Medical Ventures, a developer of products and educational services for neonatal intensive care units across the U.S. and in other countries.

Paul has lectured extensively on the business of sleep medicine on behalf of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM), the American College of Chest Physicians, the National Sleep Foundation (NSF), Harvard Medical School sleep medicine fellowship programs, the North East Sleep Society (NESS), the New England Polysomnography Society, and Accredited Sleep Technologist Education Programs. He co-authored the article, Starting a Sleep Center, presented in the May 2010 issue of the journal CHEST, as well as a case study on Sleep HealthCenters for Babson College in Wellesley, MA. Mr. Valentine is a board member of NESS; and a member of two NSF committees: Sleep Care Leadership Council and Development Committee.
