Biography

Daniel O. Beaudoin is Deputy Director of Operations for the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Dan has more than 30 years' experience in building operations, construction, and building automated control systems. He has participated in building construction projects with a total construction value exceeding $100 million and has managed energy conservation projects that include building automated controls conversions, energy management system upgrades, utility service and distribution upgrades, lighting retrofits, retro-commissioning existing buildings, and various mechanical systems upgrades resulting in annual energy savings of over $1.4 Million and greenhouse gas reductions of 14.3%.

Daniel holds a master's degree in Facilities Management from Massachusetts Maritime Academy (MMA), is a certified energy manager (CEM) and carbon reduction manager (CRM) recognized by the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) and is a United States Green Building Council LEED v2 Accredited Professional. He is a former adjunct professor in the Department of Interior Design and Facilities at WIT and served on their Industry Professional Advisory Committee (IPAC). Daniel also guest lecturers on building mechanical systems and sustainable design strategies for the Department of Environmental Sciences and Engineering at Harvard.
