Who We Are
The Emergency Preparedness Research, Evaluation & Practice (EPREP) Program at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health provides public, private, and non-governmental organizations with the expertise to prepare for and respond to emergencies of all types.
We convene public health, health care, first-responders, and other organizations to offer practice-based education, exercises, and evaluation activities centered on public health emergency preparedness and community safety.
Since 9/11, EPREP efforts have been supported with funding from and in collaboration with numerous governmental and non-governmental organizations such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization, the European Center for Disease Control and Prevention (ECDC), the Association of Schools and Programs in Public Health (ASPPH) , the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the U.S. Department of Justice, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Peace and Security Programme, and the National Academies of Science, Engineering and Medicine (NASEM)
