Brown Unlocking Insights from EHR Data Workshop  – 11/1

The Data Science Institute and Department of Biostatistics at Brown University would like to invite you to join us for a workshop on Unlocking Insights from Electronic Health Record Data with Statistics and AI on November 1st.

Organized by Joseph Hogan (Chair of Biostatistics) and Rebecca Hubbard (Professor of Biostatistics), this day-long workshop will touch on themes including design of EHR-based studies, missingness and synthetic data, causal inference, Bayesian statistics, prediction model development and evaluation, and algorithmic fairness.

The workshop will include three topical sessions with faculty speakers, a keynote talk from Shirley Wang, Associate Professor of Medicine Harvard Medical School, lunch, and a reception. See the Events@Brown page for a full schedule.
