Do I Belong Here?: A panel on mental health and entrepreneurship

Location
Smith Campus Center, Floor 10 (Hawk’s Nest)

Time

5:15 pm – 6:30 pm

Event Type

From Around the School, Lectures/Seminars/Forums

Harvard students and entrepreneurs often face intense pressure to succeed while navigating feelings of isolation, self-doubt, and imposter syndrome. These experiences influence how we take risks, pursue new opportunities, and see ourselves as capable leaders.

Join Dr. Linda Lin (clinical psychologist), Kim Meninger (leadership coach), Sara Falkson (social entrepreneur and Harvard alum) and Yutian Li (Psychology researcher and Harvard junior) for a thoughtful conversation about confidence and belonging. The panel will explore how imposter syndrome affects founders and aspiring entrepreneurs, how we can empower individuals who may not see themselves as “traditional” entrepreneurs, and how mentors, accelerators, and entrepreneurial communities can create more inclusive environments.

The conversation will also address how founders can pursue ambitious goals while maintaining a healthy sense of self-worth beyond the success of their venture. This event is open to anyone interested in entrepreneurship, leadership, mental health, and building a stronger culture of support within the Harvard community.

Come for great conversation and Felipe’s burritos!

Please register in advance.
