American Indian, Alaska Native and Native Hawaiian populations experience some of the highest rates of homelessness in the United States, particularly in urban areas. In this webinar, Colleen Echohawk will explore the historical systems and policies that created these disparities and continue to shape them today.

Drawing on her leadership at Chief Seattle Club and Community Roots Housing, Echohawkwill share how Indigenous-led, culturally grounded approaches to housing and services have produced powerful outcomes for Native people experiencing homelessness. Through data and stories she will illustrate how these solutions not only serve Native communities but also offer valuable insights for anyone working to address homelessness nationwide.
