Michael Reich moderates Latin American and Caribbean Dialogue

Michael R. Reich, Taro Takemi Professor of International Health Policy, Emeritus, recently presented opening remarks and moderated the Latin American and Caribbean Dialogue on Global Health System Reform in Mexico City. The event, held on the campus of Tecnologico de Monterrey on November 12-13, was led by a consortium team featuring Paola Abril Campos, DrPH ’20; Pablo Villalobos Dintrans, DrPH ’18; and Adolfo Rubinstein, MPH ’95 and Bernard Lown Scholar in Cardiovascular Health.

The Dialogue was sponsored by Wellcome Trust as part of their initiative to rethink global health amidst the ongoing changes around the world. Wellcome was represented by Fabian Moser, who also spent time at the Harvard Chan School as a visiting graduate student in 2018, and over 50 health leaders from the region attended the Dialogue.
