Health Systems Innovation Lab takes their work to Montreal
The Harvard Health Systems Innovation Lab wrapped up a productive week in Montreal, Canada, where their team shared new research from the Global Collaborative for Changing Diabetes in Children project at the International Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Diabetes (ISPAD) Conference.
Highlights from the week included:
- A full-day workshop with our global collaborators to exchange study updates and early learnings from implementation across countries.
- Dorit Talia Stein‘s poster presentation on “Costs to Scale-Up Type 1 Diabetes Services in Low- and Middle-Income Countries.”
- Jake Figi’s oral presentation on “The Global Collaborative for Changing Diabetes in Children: A Model for Inclusive Research to Improve Health Outcomes.”
These shared efforts continue to advance global understanding and capacity for delivering equitable, high-quality diabetes care for children everywhere.
