Food Pick-Ups

AT 75 FRANCIS STREET, TOWER 9A METABOLIC KITCHEN:

• Don’t show up early or late! Use the website for more directions.
• Weekday pickups: 1-3pm ; Weekend 12-2PM
• Ask the kitchen for valet parking voucher if a member of the study staff is not present
• Call 617-998-6333 if you have any problems (if it’s a weekend call 1-800-722-5520, extension 37786)

Food Logs

• Eat food as instructed. Eating guidelines are found here
• Complete a food log page for each day of the diet. You will receive your food log with your first pick up.
• Prioritize eating all the the test food(s) 
  • Always send a photo of your completed test food container/package/dish to testfood@hsph.harvard.edu . You can text the photo directly to the email. PLEASE send photos by following these directions.    
• If you have questions, call or email and the study Dietitian will get back to you.

Stool Collection

• This is completed at home on days 3 and 9 following these instructions (the instructions are also found inside the stool kit)

Urine Collection

• You will complete an overnight urine collection on day 8 (the night before your clinic visit)
• Use the orange urine jug provide to you
• Instructions are in your folder, or download from below or here
• Stay hydrated with water, but don’t eat after 9PM
