Biography

Dr. Kucherlapati is the Paul C. Cabot Professor of Genetics and Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and has appointments at the BWH and the MGH in Boston. A part of his research effort is focused on human cancer genetics/genomics. Dr. Kucherlapati is a promoter of incorporating the principles of Personalized Medicine into medical practice. He is a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, a member of the Institutes of Medicine of the National Academy of Sciences and currently a member of the Presidential Commission for the study of Bioethics.
