Biography

Ms. Langdon specializes in the recruitment and leadership development of senior-level executives. Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Ms. Langdon began her search career in 2001 at another global executive recruiting firm.

Previously, Ms. Langdon was the chief executive officer and founder of Thermo Vision Corporation, an early leader in photonic technologies. Thermo Vision became publicly traded in 1997.

During her tenure with Thermo Vision, Ms. Langdon also gained a wealth of experience with Thermo Electron where she served as president of the company's major instrument subsidiaries. While at Thermo Electron, she also served as director of business development, spearheading the acquisition process for more than a dozen transactions.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Langdon was an engagement manager for McKinsey & Company in the firm's Boston office, with clients ranging from leaders in medical device, pharmaceutical and electric utility industries to clients on Wall Street and former President George H. W. Bush's Points of Light Foundation.

Ms. Langdon began her career at Raytheon as an engineer and physicist working on laser radar systems.

Ms. Langdon was selected as a White House Fellow serving the National Security Council and the General Accounting Office during the Reagan administration.

In addition, Ms. Langdon has served on the board or as an advisor to multiple early stage companies and nonprofit organizations dedicated to the promotion of science and technology.

Ms. Langdon holds a master's of business administration from Harvard Business School, and a master's degree in electrical engineering from Northeastern University. She earned a bachelor's degree in physics from Yale University.
