Biography
As IRB Administrative Chair for the Longwood Medical Area IRBs, serving the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, Harvard Medical School and Harvard School of Dental Medicine, Julie is responsible for managing IRB full board, as well as expedited review and approval of all human research conducted at these Schools.
In addition to her authorities and responsibilities as Administrative Chair, Julie is responsible for the management of IRB Operations, including oversight and implementation of institutional policies and procedures; and compliance with all federal regulations applicable to research involving human subjects.
Prior to joining the Harvard Chan School in October 2008, Julie served for 8 years as Sr. QA/QI Specialist in the Partners Quality Improvement (QI) Program. Julie is a Certified IRB Professional (CIP).
