Biography

Dr. Jay Lemery is an Assistant Professor in Emergency Medicine at the Weill Cornell Medical College in New York and the Director of Cornell Wilderness Medicine. Dr. Lemery holds degrees from the University of Virginia and Dartmouth Medical School, and was Chief Resident in Emergency Medicine at NYU and Bellevue Hospital in Manhattan.

His interests lie in wilderness medicine education and the effects of environmental changes on human health. He is also credentialed as a Visiting Scientist at the FXB Center for Health and Human Rights at the Harvard School of Public Health and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
