Biography
Jim Rohrbacher is currently the radiological engineer at Wyeth Research Andover and Cambridge Massachusetts campuses. He has move than twenty-three years of experience working with radiation and radioactive materials. Prior to receiving his MS degree in Radiological Sciences from the University of Lowell, he worked as a certified radiography technologist. Following graduation, he has held several positions related to the nuclear power industry. These included, radiological engineer at the Shoreham NPP, dosimetry supervisor and Radiation Safety Officer for the Yankee Atomic Environmental Laboratory.
These positions have provided Mr. Rohrbacher with a vast array of knowledge, which have included: diagnostic and therapeutic medical applications, radiation measurement mythologies (instrumentation and dosimetry), regulatory compliance (NRC, Agreement State, DOT, etc.), training, radwaste management, shipping of radioactive and hazardous materials and managing a radiation safety program.
