Christopher A. Kenney, ESQ

Biography

Mr. Kenney is a founding and managing shareholder of Kenney & Sams, P.C. He focuses his practice in trial and appellate advocacy. Mr. Kenney has extensive experience in the litigation of tort and contract claims, including all types of business disputes, employment law, personal injury, construction and real estate disputes. He also serves as a mediator and arbitrator.

The Martindale Hubbell National Law Directory has awarded Mr. Kenney an AV Rating, the highest rating for legal ability and professional ethics. The Massachusetts Attorney General appointed Mr. Kenney to serve as a Special Assistant Attorney General (from 1999 to 2005) to represent the Commonwealth in litigation matters involving construction defect claims, constitutional law, and eminent domain matters.

Boston Magazine ranked Mr. Kenney as one of the Top 100 Lawyers in Massachusetts. In a peer-reviewed survey Mr. Kenney was named a “Superlawyer” in the areas of business litigation and civil litigation defense. This designation is limited to the top 5 percent of attorneys in the Commonwealth.

In addition to his litigation practice, Mr. Kenney advises clients and various industries on risk management issues, and counsels public officials and political candidates on election law and public policy matters. He served on the adjunct faculty at Boston University School of Law, and frequently writes and lectures for business groups, trade associations, and bar associations.

Mr. Kenney received his Bachelors Degree from Holy Cross College, where he received an NCAA Scholarship. He earned his law degree from Boston University School of Law, where he was named a Paul J. Liacos scholar.
