Biography
Dr. Robert Dolin has been active in healthcare interoperability standards development for the past 20 years. He served as Chairman of the Board of Health Level Seven (HL7) in 2010-2011, and as co-editor of the HL7 Clinical Document Architecture (CDA), Continuity of Care Document (CCD), and Using SNOMED CT® in HL7 Version 3 specifications. He co-chaired the Health Information Technology Standards Panel (HITSP) Foundations Committee, responsible for harmonizing discrepancies across standards development organizations. He was a prior member of the SNOMED International Editorial Board and International Healthcare Terminology Standards Development Organization (IHTSDO) Content Committee and was responsible for Kaiser Permanente's enterprise-wide SNOMED CT® deployment.
