Dr. Vasileia Digidiki\, an FXB Health and Human Rights fellow and Harvard Instructor\, is also a core member of the cluster. The title of the research cluster is “Building Inclusion\, Sustaining Solidarity: Frontline Host Communities\, Distress Migrants and the Role of the State.” It is construed to include work that covers both government and non-government practice and how it impacts the well-being or rights of refugees and other distress migrants. The funding supports a group of Harvard doctoral students working on topics related to the cluster’s focus\, and a regular seminar series open to all members of the Harvard community. The FXB Center for Health & Human Rights at Harvard University is accepting applications for the 2024-2025 Child Protection Certificate cohort. This interdisciplinary qualification is open to students from any Harvard graduate school\, but admission is limited to 30 individuals. Take a look at the 2024-2025 brochure here. \n\n\nThe certificate program incorporates ongoing child protection research and practice grounded in field-based realities and takes into account the expertise of UNICEF\, a university-wide faculty steering committee\, and external child protection experts. The curriculum is composed of courses selected from across Harvard’s graduate programs and covers five domains of child protection: \n\n\n\n\nChild Protection Systems\n\n\nViolence Against Children\n\n\nJustice for Children\n\n\nSocial Change/Family Strengthening\n\n\nChild Protection Leadership Tools\n\n\n\n\n\nRequirements include completion of 12 credits selected from CPC course offerings in at least three of the curriculum’s five domains as well as participation in a one-semester\, non-credit child protection seminar series during the upcoming spring semester in 2025. \n\n\nThe seminar series will enable candidates to consolidate their understanding of the child protection field in both the domestic and international arenas through exchange with invited expert speakers and mentorship by senior child protection practitioners. Students will be encouraged to share their own child protection research and experience and engage with their peers. Please note there will be other non-mandatory events throughout the academic year to provide networking opportunities. \n\n\nProgram details and application material can be found here: https://fxb.harvard.edu/child-protection-curriculum/ \n\n\nApplications are accepted on a rolling basis but interested students are encouraged to apply early. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n	\n \n \n \n \n \n Unleash your potential at Harvard Chan School. \n In addition to our degree programs\, we offer highly targeted executive and continuing education\, directed and taught by Harvard faculty. \n \n \n \n Degree Programs \n \n \n \n How to Apply \n \n \n \n Executive and Continuing Education
